Our greatest Treasure - Life

It was in the morning of a beautiful Tuesday that I got a shocking news of the death of my new found friend. He was an avid gym goer, healthy and not overweight. Yet, he suffered a heart attack at the age of 38.

It just feels like yesterday when I met him during the launch in March and chat with him off and on in Facebook. Life is fragile, you never know what is in stall for you the next 3 years, 1 year or even the next 24 hours. Life works in its mysterious ways.

And it is the mysterious ways of life that teaches us, immortals, a lesson. -

"Live life as if there is no tomorrow."

I've heard of this quote, but I have never learnt the true meaning of it until today. Live life to the fullest, that's what people always say and it's true. We, humans, always ask the question 'why'?

Why no. 1 - Why was I born into this world?
What is the objective of knowing your purpose of life? Would it make your life better to know ur purpose? What if your purpose was not what you wanted? Wouldn't it be better left unknown?

Why no.2 - Why am I not fortunate as my friends?
Who says you're not fortunate? What makes you think your friends are better off?

I urge my friends and also to remind myself to really cherish and make the full of what we have today.

In memory of Adrian Hor Kin Loong (Jian Loong in Facebook)
Let the angel guide your soul and may you rest in peace.
