Best Movie to the Turkey of the Year

I shall start with the so-so movies first.


1. The X-Files : I Want To Believe

If you're an X-File fan, you should notice that Mulder's FBI office has this poster with the tagline "I Want to Believe". Anyhow, we, X-Files fans really do welcome the return of the show with our favourite Mulder and Scully, but are disappointed that there aren't much paranormal in there. So just take it as a 2-hour series. The best would still be The X-Files: Fight the Future.

2. Hellboy : The Golden Army

This show is ok only ler. Or maybe it's because I watched 2 shows in a day and I watched one of the best shows in 2008 before I watch this movie.

The Mummy : Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

Don't waste time, don't waste money unless you decide to have a good laugh on the lameness of the show. Sigh, Brandon Fraser used to be funny but not in this one. Plus, there's no more Rachel Weiss!!!


And the Best Movies are......*drum roll*.....



1. Red Cliff


This was the show I watched the same day as Hellboy. It was superb and brilliant. Plus Zhu Ge Liang is so cute...hiak! Ok, back to serious stuff. This movie is part 1 of one of the wars in the Romance of the Three Kindoms (you'll know bout Chou Chou, Zhu Ge Liang and Liu Bei if you know the history of China). After watching this movie, I really feel like reading more about the Romance of the Three Kingdoms but refrained myself so as to keep the suspense for part 2.

2. Dark Knight
Off the tangent, I've been watching a lot of movies with my colleagues nowadays. Back to my movie review, Christian Bale is sooooo yau ying!!! and not to forget his Batmobile and the Motorbike, and his Lamborgini...eeeekkkk. Ok ok, why I say it's one of the best? Because of Heath Ledger. Not that because he's left us but because he was really really good in portraying Joker. Seriously, Joker was the most horrifying villian I've ever watched. The show is about 2.5 hours, so it's worth your money, hiak. The only thing I'm not too happy about is Gotham City looks more like New York than Gotham City. Gotham City is supposed to be dark and gothic. That's why it's called Gotham City.
